I obtained my master's degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake in May 2006.
My thesis, Burden of Knowledge: An Exploration of Myth, History, and the Motif of Lost Innocence in the Filmography of Oliver Stone, was published by UMI. The abstract is available here.

This is an article I wrote for Confluence about the countermyth of Oliver Stone vis-á-vis the Vietnam War film: It was the genesis for my master's thesis which attempts to trace the connections between history, memory, and myth in Stone's filmography. If you want a copy of the journal, good luck. I haven't been able to obtain one.
